Emuna Hour

Today's lesson is survival school - how to maintain trust in Hashem during times of trouble.

Some people think that Bitachon is wishful thinking, when a person is confident that Hashem will do whatever he or she wants. Others say no, Bitachon is the calm acceptance of whatever Hashem does, no matter how painful or uncomfortable it might be. Who is right?

What does it mean to trust in the Almighty? What does it do for you? "Lean on Me", our first of a new series of lessons about bitachon - trusting in G-d - will show you just how much you are capable of improving the quality of your life.

If you've ever lost a loved one, nothing could console and comfort you more than the Thirteenth Principle of Emuna, which we learn today on Emuna Hour (40-minute lesson).

Today's lesson is a guide for the perplexed, those who want answers to the following questions:
1. Who is Moshiach and how will we recognize him?
2. What will happen when Moshiach comes?
3. Will life be different in the age of Moshiach?
4. Is there any truth to the claims made recently that Moshiach will come by a certain date?

Without what we learn in today's lesson, we can't possibly understand why we make the choices in life that we do. Don't miss this:

While learning the Tenth Principle of Emuna, we not only learn the amazing ramifications of Hashem's omniscience and Divine Providence, but we also see how modern technology gives us a greater insight into Divine wisdom.

In the Ninth of our Thirteen Principles of Emuna, we learn how the Torah is irreplaceable and unchangeable, for it comprises the Divine wisdom that Hashem used in creating the world, as we see in several amazing examples, such as the secret of immunization, which Louis Pasteur found in the Talmud.

Is the Torah relevant today? Isn't it ancient and antiquated? Why must I follow "man-made" religious law? Tough questions? Today's lesson on the 8th of our 13 Principles of Emuna answers all these questions, and more...

This week on Emuna Hour, we learn the 7th Principle of Emuna, all about the prophecy of Moses and why it's so important.

Is it truth you're looking for? You won't find it in either side of the media or the political spectrum, whether right or left, Democrats or Republicans, Labor or Tory, Bibi or Ganz. Why not? So where do we go for truth?

Today on Emuna Hour, we learn the 5th of the Rambam's 13 Principles of Faith and how this principle is the key for invoking all types of salvations far beyond a person's most rosy expectations. Today's lesson also looks at astrology and clairvoyance from an emuna perspective and shows how the miracle of Chanukah was the result of the 5th principle.
